Description RTO (regular twistoff) Easy to use metal RTO lid, secures onto your glass jar swiftly with a quick twist of the wrist. Complementing the clarity and visually appealing nature of glass packaging products, these caps are available in two popular colours. Glass is fast becoming a favoured choice for sustainable food packaging options with the ability to be infinitely recycled. It is a food grade packaging product that will not leach any chemicals into whatever products are packaged in it so consumers and manufacturers can use with confidence. Suitable for sterilization heat treatments up to 121ºC for 30 minutes Interior protection: double coat polyester and adhesive lacquer for acid and alkaline resistance External finish: polyester basecoat and varnish, customised printing available in various colours (MOQ’s apply) Free from BPA, PFAs and ESBO Manufacturing process complies with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP Caps/cartons should be stored in a cool and ventilated place in conditions with the temperature below 26ºC, relative humidity below 70% and without direct exposure to sunlight. Capping Instructions: Warm the lids in steam to 100° C or pour boiling water over the caps and leave for 10 minutes. This makes the seal ring on the inside of the lid more malleable and improves the seal Tighten the lid to a maximum of halfway across the thread Leave the capped jar upright overnight to form a proper seal against the neck of the jar before checking for leaks or lying flat to apply the label Note, button caps (RTB) require hot contents in the jar to form a vacuum. This causes the button on the cap to be pulled down as the contents cool.
