Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Select The prolific Buffalo Trace Distillery have excelled themselves again with this unique, single-barrel bottling of Buffalo Trace, bottled exclusively for The Whisky Shop. Made from the finest corn, rye, and barley malt, it is double-distilled. This expression was filled into a select American oak barrel in 2012 and spent 8 years and 8 months maturing before being bottled up in 2021 at 45% abv. Highly limited, just 246 bottles were produced.   This smooth and creamy Kentucky Bourbon has a deep amber hue, and packs in an incredible complexity of flavours within a very smooth bourbon. Expect a medley of vanilla, oak and molasses on the nose, giving way to a pleasantly sweet taste. Flavours of brown sugar and spice, along with toffee, coconut make for a delightful palate and a smooth finish with serious depth.  Great bang for your buck.
