Victorian Oak Book Rack

Lovely Victorian oak extending book rack very much in the Black Forest manner. There are some old chips and losses to the carvings but they are so busy they are hardly noticeable. More importantly, the sliding action is in great condition. Overall an attractive and unusual piece of Victoriana.
