Camel Up: The Card Game continues the long tradition of taking larger tabletop games and making them smaller, more portable, and easier to play in a card game form. Well, in this case, it makes the game smaller at least. Camel Up was already fairly easy to set up and play, whereas the card game makes you lay out cards for the track, and it takes the spectator tokens from the original game and splits them into Fennec and Shortcut tokens, and it makes it possible to bet on the midfield. The last option is probably the most welcome addition, as the others just add wrinkles to the already-smooth gameplay.
